New World Artists are Exclusive Booking Agents for Alex Jones.
Arguably the most versatile hip hop act in Melbourne, Alex Jones (F.K.A Dr Flea) has been performing around Australia and dropping hits since he stepped into the game.
With a mixture of hip hop, trap and grime tracks in his arsenal, Alex is a truly well rounded emcee, and with over 8 million views on YouTube and tens of thousands of followers across social media, the sky truly is the limit.
Alex has performed with some of the best in the game including The Game, AJ Tracey, Obie Trice, Ghostface Killah, Newham Generals (D Double E and Footsie), Rodney P and many more. On top of these international supports, Alex has toured the country several times – most recently as part of The Apocalypse Tour alongside Fraksha, Shadow, Mitchos Da Menace, Son Of Sam and more. Alex has also been given the nod by Ghetts following his freestyle over Ghetts and Rude Kid’s “One Take”.
His recent collaboration with Eyez, Zdot and Fraksha titled “Other Side” was #1 on Spotify’s Grime Shutdown playlist.
Aside from these collaborations, Alex has found himself inside Triple J studios on multiple occassions for Grime sets live-on-air alongside artists like Nerve, Chillinit, Huskii, Wombat, Scotty Hinds, Diem, Fraksha, Talakai and more.
Triple J also released an article naming Alex as one of the Kings of Australian Grime alongside Fraksha, Nerve and Wombat.
Alex has also found success in collaborating with childhood friend, Will Sparks, on “Chemical Energy” which debuted in Top 10 of Beatport Top 100 in 2012 and once again with “My Time” in 2016.
Solo career aside, Alex has also found success as one half of LGEEZ; a collaborative project with Son Of Sam. Together they released “Cloud 9” in 2014 and followed that up with “#Slapahipsterintheface” in 2016. LGEEZ took some time off but following a recent interview with Filterzine, Australia can sleep peacefully knowing that a comeback is on its way.
