Born out of the Warp Records back catalogue and Oz Rock staples Machine Age crafted his
unique songwriting and production styling in Far North Queensland. An amalgamation of six
string soul on a collision course with his Roland 404 sampler his skill sets have been displayed
on releases by the likes of Big Scary and BANFF to name a few.
After his debut single Chivalry received critical acclaim topped off by Triple J's Richard Kingsmill
the rock electronic troubadour traversed the country in support of #1 Dads, The Jungle Giants,
Oh Mercy, Ainslie Wills, My Own Pet Radio, Lanks and others before going into to hiding track
by track reinventing every pre conceived notion of Machine Age and making sure no box would
be fit for him.
"Chivalry Is Dead" is a glimpse into the boundaries Age pushes the project, both sonically and
visually. The one man band no longer, now an ever evolving organism. This well oiled Machine returns this June/July to support Holy Holy on their "Paint" national tour.
