Across two acclaimed EPs - A Side To Blame (2023) and Wings Of Time (2025) - the band have forged a sound that blends psychedelic rock, melodic hard rock and power-pop with swirling guitars, hypnotic rhythms, intricate basslines, and choruses that refuse to leave your head. At the centre is songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Kolya Chan, whose understated charisma and fearless guitar playing have become one of the band’s defining trademarks. The band were personally selected to open two sold-out Sydney stadium shows for AC/DC at Accor Stadium, introducing their music to more than 130,000 rock fans over two unforgettable nights. Since then, LARGE MIRAGE have sold-out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne while sharing stages with The Screaming Jets, Amyl & The Sniffers, TISM, Belair Lip Bombs and a growing list of Australia’s most respected rock acts.

Their festival appearances include Woodford Folk Festival, Lost Paradise, Party In The Paddock, Night At The Barracks, Meatstock and King Street Crawl, while their headline performance launching Sydney's underground Pleasure Club cemented their reputation as one of the country's most captivating emerging live acts.

Chan is still being stopped on the street (in Coles, at Bunnings, JB HI-FI, by Martin Place ‘suits’, in restaurants and at night haunts) by audience members who just want to shake his hand to let him know how blown away they were by his blistering performances.
