Spiderbait, The Superjesus & Mammal to play Come Together

Spiderbait, The Superjesus & Mammal to play Come Together

Come Together returns on the June long weekend in 2018 Recharged, ready to rock and this year adding a
Gold Coast date.

From its indie rock origins in 2005 to more recent years when Come Together hosted some of the country’s
most memorable hip hop gatherings this year, Come Together will return to its rock roots and who better to lead
the charge and bring good energy than the mighty Spiderbait.

Without any doubt, one of Australia’s favourite live bands, Spiderbait was the first Australian band to top Triple
J’s Hottest 100 with ’Buy Me A Pony’. They’ve collected numerous ARIAs and they have just completed the
hardest rocking and most successful tours of their career. This three piece from Finley NSW, is built around
Kram’s massive drum sound plus bombastic front man persona and the alternative jazz rocking guitar by Whitt,
with the power bass and sweet vocals from Janet English. The set is packed with hits, many as you’ve never
heard them before. One of the great live power trios of all time.

Joining Spiderbait will be special guests The Superjesus who are celebrating 20 years since the release of
their platinum debut album Sumo. Sarah McLeod, one of the most dynamic and charismatic frontwomen in
Australian rock and fellow founding band member Stuart Rudd on bass, have floored audiences coast to coast
as they return to their raw roots performing their greatest hits during extraordinary live shows. Come Together
will be a show fans of The Superjesus should not miss.

A live show by Melbourne’s Modern Rock monsters Mammal is just pure energy from the gut. The MML
enigma stems from four unique, driven and charismatic artists. Ezekiel Ox spits out heartfelt lyrics against Pete
Williamson’s incendiary guitar riffs over the thunderous rhythms of bassist Nick Adams and drummer Zane
Rosanoski. Mammal have slaughtered audiences across Australia, UK and Europe and are back to reclaim the
crown of Australia’s most exciting live band - a must see at Come Together Recharged.

As always, Come Together introduces the best of the newcomers. Joining the lineup this year is Osaka
Punch. Hailing from Brisbane, Osaka Punch are forging a reputation as one of Australia's most wildly entertaining
live acts. The group's distinctive fusion of catchy grooves, jazz chops and a rock ethos sets them apart
from most heavy bands, while introducing humour and satire in an otherwise very serious music scene.
Reviewers have emphasised the crowd-captivating live antics of the outfit and especially its charismatic and
ceaselessly energetic front man, Jack 'Muzak' Venables.

Completing this year’s line-up is Sydney’s four piece RACKETT whose slamming loud experimental punk-pop
has critics and fans raving - “Rackett brought the energy to the crowd and slayed it”. “High energy and addictive,
I can’t wait to see these vivacious girls live again!” “Noise is their number one trade and they are very, very
good at it.” They’re also great fun so be there early!

Recharged and ready to rock, Come Together returns on Queen Lizzie’s long weekend with 6 hours straight of
high-energy home-grown Rock and back at the home of fun, Big Top Sydney at Luna Park.

For the first time ever, Come Together will also expand across the Queensland border for a second high-energy
show on Saturday, 30th June at the Night Quarter, the Gold Coast’s hub of community and culture.
