Diet announce Australian East Coast Tour
WATCH: Video for Previous Single 'Take Me'
After a slew of capacity parties in 2018, Rare Finds proudly announce Melbourne-based indie-rock band DIET. as the next headliner of their East Coast touring circuit for May – presented by Oporto and Pilerats, and supported by Mountain Goat Beer, Arthur St. Studios and Sailor Jerry.
Following on from touring with Polish Club and joining the New World Artists booking agency, DIET are set to unveil their new single ‘Danny Boy’ on Friday April 27. Replete with nostalgic synthesizers and playful guitar lines influenced by The Smiths and The Cure, ‘Danny Boy’ is a passionate plea from one brother to another over an interstate phone call.
In 2017, the group experienced spot rotation on triple j for the first time across the back half of the year with their synth laden, heartfelt love letter in ‘Take Me’.
Joining them in Brisbane will be Baskervillain, Disco Indians and Dumb Things, in Melbourne Yes Yes Whatever, Bad Bangs and The Belafontes, and in Sydney Papaya Tree, Lola Scott and Nice Juan DJ’s.
Tickets for Brisbane and Sydney are on-sale now from the below ticketing outlets, and Melbourne is free entry.
