Ennaria Signs With New World Artists

Ennaria is the latest addition to the New World Artists roster.

The self-styled “degenerate Harajuku girl” whose music blends electronic and metal with punk rock energy, signs an exclusive booking agency deal with Edwin Tehrani at New World Artists, which will represent her for live performances across Australia and New Zealand.

The agency arrangement follows the release of Ennaria’s single “Insecure,” which has received full rotation on triple, and is the followup to “Show Off” and her breakthrough single, “Monstarr.”

Since dropping in late 2023, “Monstarr” has accumulated more than 4.8 million streams on Spotify, and captured over 1 million views on YouTube.

“Ennaria’s presence and talent are undeniable,” comments Tehrani, who has guided the careers of Mallrat, Allday, In Hearts Wake and others. “Her work has already sparked massive attention, and with this partnership, we’re excited to bring her innovative vision to the stage.”

Recorded between Tokyo and Sydney with producers Tonser and Sean Bowe, and featuring an assist from 6arlyhuman, “Insecure” is an “ironic commitment to the idea of ‘faking it ‘til you make it,” she recounts.

“My writing was super inspired by the sleazy early 2010s indie sleaze/electro punk scene, alongside the grittiness of 2010s synthpop,” she continues. “Very Kesha, very 3OH3!, very Breathe Carolina. I tried to bring in a breath of fresh air with a creative vocal chopped electronic drop and with influences of the currently re emerging indie sleaze genre and recently emerging ‘scenecore’ genre, which is also an underground subversion of 2010s popular music.”

Founded in 2006 and boasting offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, New World Artists’ stable includes Allday, Anna Lunoe, Diesel, Frenchy, Grinspoon, Mallrat, British India, Nats What I Reckon, Sneaky Sound System, Spiderbait, Thy Art Is Murder and Silverchair.
