BRITISH INDIA - The Gospel of Luke Tour Just Got Louder!
Supports Announced!
British India are back! The Gospel is here. Highly anticipated, The Gospel of Luke Tour will be the pub rock run of the year… and now every stop (almost) has its own killer local support artist locked in...with the exception of Canberra. ACT fans should ensure they're following www.facebook.com/britishindiaofficial/">British India Facebook where there'll soon be an announcement of a support competition for their show at Fun Time Pony!
This spring, the band that gave us Black & White Radio, I Said I’m Sorry, Vanilla, I Can Make You Love Me and countless more, will tear through a dozen venues throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia — armed with their first new music in eight years, the powerful and defiant The Gospel of Luke. It’s also the debut of new guitarist Jack Tosi, and a track that swells from hushed indie confession to a chorus big enough to rival Oasis at their most swaggering.
Newcomers to the touring scene, Purple Disturbance will energise the crowds at the first five shows on the tour from QLD to Sydney, with their gritty, high-energy punk-vibe and serious stage presence. Think early Ramones meets IDLES, with an Aussie punch. British India will be joined by Black Crown and Among the Restless in Victoria, Quite Like Pete at Albion Park Rail New South Wales and Oscar the Wild in South Australia.
The best driving song ever - The Gospel of Luke, will be showcased live for the first time at these fine rock music establishments:
