Lead guitarist, singer, songwriter & producer Kolya Chan said today on hearing the news his retro rock band LARGE MIRAGE would be opening this 84,000 capacity behemoth of a venue in both his & ACDC's hometown for the trumphant return of Acca Dacca .....

“We’re absolutely pumped to be opening for AC/DC. It’s a huge honour — one of the greatest and most enduring rock bands in the world. We’ll be hitting the stage hard with a 30-minute set packed with energy, grit and plenty of surprises. Expect wild bass runs, psychedelic keys action, pumping in the pocket drums, adrenaline inspired guitar solos and the most flamboyant stage moves that LARGE MIRAGE can deliver!

We’ll be playing some of our most popular streamed tracks..Going Insane, When The Morning Shines, One Eyed Man , plus the title track from our brand new EP Happy Now, which drops this Thursday 23 October. We’ll include two unreleased songs that we’re seriously excited about playing for both thoset AC/DC audiences to warm things up for two fabulous evenings of unadulterated authentic Australian rock in all its forms."

"Large Mirage", Kolya continued " do like to jam a bit, so no two sets are ever the same. We move from fast to slow, soft to loud — blending heavy, prog and retro rock with dual vocals, sprinkle some three-part harmonies, with a 60s/70s-inspired aesthetic that still feels very now. It’s all about pouring our collective influences into one bombastic 30 minute live show."

Gates to the Olympic Stadium open around 5pm and LARGE MIRAGE are on stage at about 6pm. It takes a while to get in the area, parked and settled at Accor Stadium, so come early! Don’t miss it and risk LARGE MIRAGE FOMO. It’s going to be heaven to hell, pure chaos in the best way possible   Large Mirage.com    On Insta largemirage and FB Tik ToK.
