New World Artists, Exclusive Booking Agents for Phil Jamieson.

With the overwhelming success of GRINSPOON's GUIDE TO BETTER LIVING 20th AnniversaryTour (Australia from June - Sept 2017) Phil will be available (for solo & his band shows) that are private or corporate events only prior to Oct 2017.

Phil Jamieson, Grinspoon’s enigmatic front man brings his acute lyrical observations and self depricating sense of humour to a series of solo acoustic shows at the end of 2013.

Songs performed will predominantly be Phil’s solo versions of Grinners classic tunes that he penned or co-written , his own solo works old and new, plus a few ring- in tunes arranged in true ‘Jamo’ style- just for the fun of it.

Phil Jamieson is best known as the front man of iconic Australian band Grinspoon. The band was the first band ever Unearthed by the ABC Youth Radio Network triple j (1995). Grinspoon have been together for over seventeen years, and they recently released their highly acclaimed seventh studio album ‘Black Rabbits’.

Grinspoon have been one of the most successful bands in Australia’s music history. They have received 13 Aria nominations and in 2005 won an Aria “Best Rock Album” for ‘Thrills Kills + Sunday Pills’. They have been nominated for APRA & ARIA Song of the Year. The band played live at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the closing ceremony of the Melbourne 2006 XVIII Commonwealth Games. Grinspoon ’s Albums “Guide to Better Living”, “Easy”, "New Detention, & "Thrills Kills & Sunday Pills" all went platinum in Australia. Phil also won Best Male at the Jack Awards.

As well as writing for his band, Phil co-wrote the Unwritten Law songs 'She Says' and 'Because of you' with Scott Russo and also made contribution to the song 'I Heard The Fire Sing' for the Dirty Deeds soundtrack. His song writing skills and live performance values have been a major contributor to the success of Grinspoon.

Jamieson recently embarked on a Rock N Ride tour for headspace, the National Youth and Mental Health Foundation. Ten other Australian musician and media personalities joined him on a five-day motorbike tour from the Gold Coast Big Day Out to Adelaide Big Day Out in January 2013. The tour was aimed at engaging local communities and raising awareness about mental health issues faced by young people.

Phil DJ’s under the name 2ManyPJs.
Phil is endorsed by RODE microphones, VOX amplification & Maton Acoustic Guitars
