Brisbane sweethearts Sweater Curse are thrilled to share the charming and quirky DIY video for their track ‘Take Some Time’, lifted from the band’s debut EP ‘See You’ which was released earlier this year. The video comes ahead of Sweater Curse’s headline east coast tour in support of the record, which kicks off this Friday 7th June in Adelaide followed by Melbourne, Sydney, and a sold out hometown show in Brisbane.
The single, plucked from ‘See You’, plays an important role in Sweater Curse’s history as a band.
“Take Some Time was the first song we ever wrote for Sweater Curse,” says vocalist and guitarist Chris Langenberg. “We started writing it in Rei's living room in Red Hill and it took a couple of weeks to finish it. We usually play it first in our set because it was the first song we wrote and it seems like that's where it fits.”
Always wholesome and ever endearing, the clip for ‘Take Some Time’ leads the viewer through the life and times of Sweater Curse; from road trip, to live stage, and right back to bathroom mirror.
