Sweater Curse Signs To New World Artists

Sweater Curse Signs To New World Artists

Brisbane trio Sweater Curse have become New World Artists latest signees and to celebrate, they’ve dropped handful of Aussie tour dates.

The Brisso band has been kicking around for a while, supporting the likes of Camp Cope and Julia Jacklin but right from the start they had caught the eye of New World Artist’s Dominic Miller.

I saw Sweater Curse’s first ever gig and have been a fan since day one. They write songs with conviction from a real place and their live show is impeccable. We are so excited to work with this band; we think they’re the next big thing out of Brisbane,” Miller said.

The band is similarly stoked to be joining a team that nourishes the Brisbane music scene with such dedication.

We’ve known Dominic for years and have been receiving encouragement and support since the start of our involvement in the music scene as a band,” the band told The Music.

This made the decision to join NWA much easier and we’re super excited to be a part of such a wonderful team.”

Following the news and the outfit’s brand new single Don’t Call Me, which dropped last week, Sweater Curse is hitting the road for shows in Sydney, Wollongong and Brisbane.
