Good Boy & Sweater Curse Announced on Against The Grain 2018

Queensland’s Against The Grain festival is returning to Brisbane for its third year this November, and it has given us a lineup that’s packed to the brim with Aussie legends.

Heading the bill is Melbourne four-piece City Calm Down, who are enjoying a massive year following the release of their second album Echoes In Blue.

Also on the lineup are the likes of Tiny Little Houses, Maddy Jane, Good Boy, Totally Mild and Moaning Lisa. Peep the full roster of 20 interstate and local artists down below.

Against The Grain 2018 — which is run by the team behind GRAIN ZINE — will be spread out across three separate venues (The Foundry, The Brightside and The Valley Drive In) on the one day — Saturday, 3rd November.

In a statement to Music Feeds, festival co-founder Chris Langenberg said, “The first year of Against The Grain was literally just an excuse to see our favourite bands in a space that wasn’t a conventional venue.

We hadn’t thought about how much work and risk goes into organising and executing a festival. In all the shows Grain has booked, we have always carried the ethos of showcasing our favourite bands and this year is no different.”
