Tyne-James Organ Announces East Coast Single Tour

Tyne-James Organ Announces East Coast Single Tour

The single premiered on triple j’s Good Nights show last week, where it lit up the message boards with fans ecstatic to hear new music from the south coast troubadour. The song was then added to triple j rotation this week.

Organ has also released a brand-new video to support the release of ‘Graceful’ – a clip that sees TJ go through a major transition (thanks to a pair of hair clippers), as well as show off some of his very best rock star dance moves.

Speaking of the song, Organ explains the writing process was incredibly cathartic. “I’m really excited to be sharing Graceful, because it perfectly sums up the past 12 months of my life, and puts into place everything I’ve wanted to say but just haven't been able to find the right words for. It’s funny, when you’re with someone they can so easily make you feel like you're the entire world, but then the moment that’s gone you find yourself questioning every part of your existence. For me, creating this song was about emerging out the other side and finding a sense of grace within myself again.

It’s songs like ‘Graceful’ that have transformed Organ’s career in the last 12 months. After originally finding fame through performing acoustic covers on Youtube, he now boasts over a million streams of his own material, as well as praise from the likes of triple j, The Music, Pilerats, Best Before, and The AU Review, just to name a few.

His breakout single, ‘Watch You Go,’ was released at the end of last year – a heartfelt song written for his late father – and became his first song to be added to rotation on triple j. Since its release, he’s sold out solo tours and supported big name acts like Jake Bugg and Lanks, as well as performing as part of his good friend and label mate Mallrat’s on stage show, including her momentous Splendour In The Grass set.

He’s now poised to showcase at the BIGSOUND music festival and conference in Brisbane next week, before playing a number of solo and festival dates throughout the rest of the year.
