Ro Announces First East Coast Headline Tour

Hailing originally from Margaret River (WA), Ro is a Melbourne-based songwriter with a voice that can caress you in one breath and carve you apart in the next.

Following up her glittery confessional debut “Diary” (over 60k streams, and airplay on triple j, double j, unearthed, FBi Radio, Triple R, ABC, 4ZZZ, RTR + more) which was released earlier this year, Ro returned last month with “F**ked Up Over You” – a track about playing the player, and deflating the ego of an ex-lover.

The track has already racked up over 65k streams, was last week added to triple j rotation, and following her showcase at BIGSOUND Festival in September, Ro also recently announced signing with Dom Miller at New World Artists for bookings and Hutch Collective for management.

To celebrate, Ro is excited to announce a run of headline tour dates in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne for March and April, 2019. You can catch her at the following venues:

Ro is also excited to give you the official video for her latest single “F**ked Up Over You” in which she flaunts some major swagger at a night time carnival, flipping off fireworks and dominating the dodgem cars.

There’s something playfully chaotic about going to a country town carnival to film a music video. It was awesome fun amidst the craziness, we clung to the colour and noise and used it to make something beautiful. It suited the exhilarating ‘I don’t give a f**k’ vibe of the song.

It felt empowering take myself on a fun adrenalin fuelled date, and to capture it all on camera. Some might say there’s a short-lived superficial joy in going to carnivals and getting flung around by the rides, but combining all that fairy floss with the understated grit and attitude of the song was perfect. If life is an emotional roller coaster, just let your hair out and throw your arms up and ride it once in a while.
