Clea Announces 'Vermillion' Album Tour

Today Brisbane’s Clea is proud to share ‘Emotional Intelligence’, a new track lifted from her debut album ‘Vermillion’ ahead of its release this Friday 23rd November.

In addition to the promise of new music, the ‘Vermillion’ release will see an album tour, and a signing at Brisbane’s Jet Black Cat this Saturday 24th November.

Clea recorded Vermillion together with her partner, musician/producer Alistar Richardson, in a hand-built recording studio perched over a lily-strewn dam in the Scenic Rim in Queensland.

The process of recording the album together, without the burden of time constraints, allowed the songs to evolve, weave and turn. I’m so thankful for the collaborative ease and inspiration I share with Ali when it comes to making music.Clea says, “We really challenged ourselves musically within this album, providing the perfect platform for my sentiments to take hold.

Having recently wrapped up an AU/NZ tour with USA popstar King Princess, the Brissy creative is set to continue her momentum with a slot on Beyond The Valley’s lineup alongside the likes of The Kooks, Tash Sultana, Duke Dumont and Client Liaison. Clea has also been announced on the new Farmer and The Owl Festival, joining the likes of USA acts Beach House, Snail Mail, Deafheaven, and Flint Eastwood.

This week leading into the release of the highly anticipated ‘Vermillion’, Clea will be teasing tracks from the release across her social platforms, to offer up a taste of what’s to come this Friday 23rd November. The teasers offer up a glimpse into the beautiful Scenic Rim property on which the record came to life.
