After kicking off his SLOWSHINE TOUR in North America last week, Australian artist Golden Vessel is now excited to announce that he’ll also be taking his album tour across Australia & New Zealand.
This September Golden Vessel will be taking his SLOWSHINE TOUR to Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane with Australian artist Felivand on main support, before heading over to New Zealand in October playing shows in Wellington & Auckland with local lads Balu Brigada on main support.
Back in May Golden Vessel gave us his highly anticipated debut album SLOWSHINE which came with a huge cast of guest artists including DUCKWRTH, E^ST, Woodes, Elkkle, Akurei, The Nicholas, Cult Shotta, Lonelyspeck, Oscar KeySung & Emerson Leif, and it has since collected over 4 million streams across Spotify & Apple Music.
Its lead singles BIGBRIGHT, MOONSTONE, DIZZY, HIGHWAY, and the more recent TONIGHT, all came with very cool accompanying music videos, BIGBRIGHT & MOONSTONE being directed by Harry Deadman and the other were three self-filmed & directed by Golden Vessel’s Maxwell Byrne and his friend Matt Howard from 633 films while on a trip to Japan earlier in 2019.
“The video for tonight is the third video I filmed with my friend Matt Howard (from 633 films) on a recent trip to Japan. We had a bunch of ideas for different scenes on the way over, but we weren’t sure where we were going to shoot. It turned out that the suburb we were staying in was so beautiful and interesting and we ended up filming it just around the area we were staying in.
It was tough to shoot. Almost every time we’d go outside to shoot, we’d hit record and the sun would go behind the clouds for hours. Luckily on our last day we got good light and quickly filmed everything we needed.
Keep an eye out for a little cameo from one of my friends as well.” – Golden Vessel
